Birthday.

Only 65 years... hard to believe.
Apparently French designer Louis Reard had a hard time finding a model to wear his Bikini back in 1946. Nude dancer below debuted the costume on July 5.

Its hard to believe it was such a a big deal showing so much skin given how revealing fashion can be these days.

For your feet.

You are all aware of the Ugg boot right? How could you not be.

As an Australian i have always found it rather amusing that people would pay so much for Ugg boots, when to us they are ugly slippers we had to wear as kids after bath time, before bed time with our pj's to keep us warm. Never would we wear them out of the house.

It was a toss up between our 'Ugg' boots or our 'Moccasins' as to which we prefer. I love the Moccy.

Designer bebe...

Dressing a baby is so much fun. Its like dolly dress up for adults.

I love shopping for my new niece. It got me thinking about all the baby designer stuff out there.
I decided on Stella McCartney's collections as my favourites.

There seem to be a lot of designer brands doing junior collections these days, Chloe, Burberry, Paul Smith, Fendi, Armani, Dior..... Pretty damn cute if you are rich enough not to care when your little one throws up all over their $200 dress.

This is a great site if you are game enough...

Prada steals my heart every time.

I think this label might just be my favourite.
Its completely classy always. And it holds a soft spot for me as my first ever designer piece was a gorgeous Prada handbag.
It was my baby. It cost more than my first car.
But...
I did buy it from the first ever open Prada store (Milan). That makes it history right??

It was an incredible experience making a purchase like that. Unfortunately for my bank account it has since become an addiction. The service is amazing! It does take forever for them to ring it through, but the champagne while you wait make its worth it.
Despite the lack of sleep for the week following the purchase, i adored my baby, and felt a million dollars when i wore it.

Its rather tattered these days, but at least its loved.

I want this.

I have been searching for a beige piece for my wardrobe. Beige is a tricky colour. So boring, so not me.
I think i may have found the perfect piece. I love patent leather and i especially LOVE BLACK.
